The basic level of home care services may  include any combination of the following:

• Vacuuming;

• Dusting;

• Cleaning appliances

• Scrubbing bathrooms

• Doing laundry; and

• Other home maintenance task such as changing light bulbs.

Eligibility:

• Expected to be homebound or have a medical condition that prevents from safely performing the activities involved in the level of services received.
• Services under the Older Americans Act are provided to individuals age 60 or above; however, such services should be target to those with little or not personal support to provide assistance with the identified activities.
