Family Care Giver Act
|
The
Lower Savannah Council of Governments (LSCOG) has a grant under the Family
Care Giver Act to provide relief and support to the primary caregiver of a
frail or disabled adult and provides a break for the caregiver from the
continuous responsibilities of caregiving. Without this support, the primary
caregiver's ability to continue in his or her role would be jeopardized;
thereby increasing the risk of institutionalization of the frail or disabled
adult. |
